On Friday, July 17, members of the Class of 2020 celebrated Mass on campus one last time as Holy Name students. Fr. James Kulway, parochial vicar at Mary Queen of the Apostles Parish in Brook Park, was the celebrant. Fr. James also celebrated the very first Mass many members of the Class of 2020 attended in August 2016, at their Freshman Class Picnic.
“How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.” – Written by A.A. Milne, for Winnie the Pooh.
Class of 2020, we have been lucky to have you at Holy Name these last four years. You persevered in both good times and bad times. You showed the underclassmen how to lead, how to serve, and how to treat others with respect. You made this school – this community – a better place. Saying goodbye to you is not easy. But please know that all of us are very proud of you, and feel lucky to call you Namers for life.
