Congratulations to Stephanie Sawicki ’16, who received a Bishops’ Scholarship for Excellence during a luncheon held last Friday, August 7. Stephanie was selected as one of six Cleveland area Catholic high school recipients after participating in an essay contest, with this year’s essay theme being ‘Forgiveness.’
Each high school recipient, including Stephanie, received a scholarship worth $2,500. This scholarship will be used during Stephanie’s senior year at Holy Name. The scholarship is made available through the Catholic Education Endowment Trust.
Stephanie, who is an active member of Campus Ministry and had a starring role in Holy Name’s 2015 Spring Musical “The Drowsy Chaperone,” is a graduate of St. Charles Borromeo in Parma. She is the daughter of Timothy and Kristie Sawicki.
