Holy Name is pleased to announce that Conor Regin is the Green Wave’s new boys’ varsity head lacrosse coach. His tenure will begin immediately.
Regin, who is from Syracuse, New York, has been playing, and now coaching, lacrosse his whole life. During his high school career at West Genesee (NY), Regin and the lacrosse team were the 2008 New York state champions. He then went on to play at Onondaga Community College (NY), where he was a part of a team that won the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) national championship in both 2010 and 2011. Regin concluded his college career at Le Moyne College (NY), where he won a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II national championship in 2013.
Regin said, “Growing up in Upstate New York, I was forced to be surrounded by the game and grew to love it. I am looking forward to being a part of Holy Name, as well as the 2016 lacrosse team.”
