Holy Name High School is saddened to share the news of the unexpected passing of Bill Mahnic ‘75. We will greatly miss him, as well as his wife, the late Christine Cieplowski Mahnic ‘75, who passed away this past spring. Bill served on the Holy Name Advisory Board and the school’s Finance Committee. Because of his unwavering support, Bill was a Doc Scullen Award recipient, earning him a place in Holy Name’s Service Hall of Fame.
Bill and Christine’s love of music was the catalyst for establishing the Mahnic Family Music Fund. They encouraged Holy Name students to find their passion for music, and loved attending concerts and musicals. For this and so much more, they will never be forgotten by the Holy Name community.
