Last week, the Theology department held a peanut butter jar drive, with all peanut butter set to be donated to local soup kitchens. Mr. PJ Farrell, the senior theology teacher, said that thanks to the combined efforts of freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors, the school collected 1,682 ounces of peanut butter!
Along with donating the peanut butter to local soup kitchens, senior students who participated in the Caritas retreat last week will also be making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to give to those in need.
