Earlier this month, Holy Name’s actors and actresses performed in The Cleveland Theatre Conference’s One-Act Play Competition at John Carroll University. The one-act they did was “Bite Me,” written by Holy Name’s own Claire Leff ’17.

Anna Regan ’18 and Tess Smith ’19 both took home the coveted “Best Performer” Awards for their roles as Bri and Harmony Ryan, respectively.

Grace Horvath ’17 received a $60 gift card to PlayhouseSquare for her performance as Amy Whittman, while Matthew Stracensky ’20 earned Great Lakes Theater tickets for his role as Max. Austin Hojdar ’20 and Lizzie Groth ’17 were also a part of the “Bite Me” cast.

Congratulations to these students! We look forward to seeing many of them perform in this year’s Spring Musical, “Seussical,” with shows on Friday, April 7 at 7 p.m., Saturday, April 8 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, April 9 at 2 p.m. in Holy Name’s Manning Auditorium. Tickets cost $8 for students and senior citizens, and $10 for adults.
